...aka the Goldbrand- quest.
Right, I found the broken down shrine of Boethiah some way from Ashurnibibi (the Daedric shrine close to Hla Oad), and after a long time trying to find an entrance  I talked to the head of the statue, who gave me the quest.
Now, the Orc in Caldera (sorry, I'm great with all non-Orcish names!) who would carve the new statue told me to find a book with a picture of the shrine in it.. Now I don't mean to sound like a whiny quitter, but I've been looking for the book for many days now!
I haven't gone to the Library in the Hall of Wisdom in Vivec City, or to Jobasha's rare Books, because I don't particularly want a swarm of Ordinators to attack me.
So is either of those the ticket, or is there some secret sub-plot? HELP!

Hmmm...I think you're going to have to find a way to deal with those ordinators because Jobasha is the only merchant that I know of who has that book. Maybe you can use lots of invisibility or chameleon potions or spells.

Naughty Hortator, have you been upsetting those nice, friendly Ordinators? :nono: :)
If you're using a PC, there are plugins you can download which makes them like you again, even if you've been harvesting their armor.......

Would you mind giving me a link or two? Although, I've had some clashes with plugins before.. My little brother installed the Adamantium armour one, and it totally crashed the whole game.. Had to reinstall a few times. :p
In fact, could you please recommend some plugins that you demt o be 'necessary' or very important? I would appreciate it greatly. :)

Hortator - if you continue the Goldbrand quest, you should try visiting the site where the new shrine is being built before it has been completed.

Hehe, thanks, I got the sword ages ago.. Nice statue Duma gro-Lag madde! :)

But did you go see the shrine "in progress"? That is, before it was completed?

I did with my new character. There were a few orcs standing up on scaffolds all around the rock. I didn't see any change to the rock though...

That's what I saw, too. While I suppose this is much less exciting than being able to visit it daily and see small changes each day, I thought the fact that they even considered having a "work in progress" view was really cool -- that is, having a state other than "not begun" and "done".
Perhaps I'm just too easily pleased. :)

I thought it was neat too. It would have been better if the orcs were animated like they were working, and have some hammering sounds, but I guess you gotta use your imagination.
