the new patch wll let you get the key to that place from the fighter who was from your first Blades mission (sorry, I'm really bad w/ names). Anyway, once the patch is installed, the guy gives you the key to the Underground of arkhinghad. i went through fairly late in the game, and it was kinda neat, but not too hard...lots of steam/sphere centurions, Dwemer Ghosts and so on...

So did I, but I don't remember any ocean. And I doubt it was a bug (unless you're making it up)... the ocean part that is. If you just fall through the floor, you would either die or be teleported back up, so the ocean was there for a reason... there should be some "legal" way to get there. Maybe I'll check with the editor.

granius isn't too hard to kill... you just keep hacking at him and he dies relatively quick. i was about level 3 or 4 when i took him down.
in the ruins... at the lowest level before the locked doors, there is a lava pool and some rocks. there's also a passage on the other side, but i can't reach it. does anyone know where that leads?
Eater1 on 23/6/2002 at 21:38
You mean the really small caveish thingy where it looks like you could easily get on that passage but can't? There is an angry guy with an axe on the other side, as well as a telescope. Nothing special.

You can jump over the gap...
As for the ocean thing - sounds really weird, probably a bug though... I have searched that area extensively - because I though that it must have something interesting... First time I was there I were out of levitates and couldn't explore the structure in the room with the water - and I figured that the bridge high overhead would lead furter into the complex! However that was not quite what I found when I explored it later on.... and I don't think there's more to that ruin beyond that point!

Eater. I think the guy actually has a hammer

Hammer, axe, whatever, it still hurt my level 6 char a lot back when I was there...

Well, what other nteresting auatic locations are their?
evanir on 25/6/2002 at 00:20
if you want to see that "ocean" effect... go to vivec (it works particularly well here) and go to the ramps that go from one level to another outside the cantons... you know from ground to the waistworks??
anyway, go up one of those tunnels, stay hard against the wall as you climb, and if you play with your view enough you should see "through" the wall and eventually fall through it, in a kind of "oops you're on the wrong side of the mesh!" and you can swim back outside the canton, where everything becomes normal again.
