I know this may seem odd, but mabye I am getting things confused, I read that you could go into the crypt and open a sarcophagus that lead to the lower levels? Where is the crypt entrance that you use this key on?? I already have made the crypt key thingy in the cathedral...now I need to know where and how to use it. I tried the tomb in the cemetary just around from the cathedral, but I clicked and clicked and I still do not know if this is the place I use the crypt key on!
Unlock the door on the North side of the church yard with the key that Ironguage was wearing, then "use" the thingy on the pedestal.

This is one terrific mission. But I've struck a problem, - I'll download ver.1.1 now and hope it doesn't recur.
It's in the crypt, the secret
passage near the lava, with a sword and a frobbable wall panel. If I go to close to the sword I can't get out. Halfway back along that small passage is an area where I can only go sideways, not back or forward. I've tried this many times with the same result. Is there something more in there I have to do?
Love those floating spyballs! And the notice on the cemetery gate. This one has so much variety: creepy sections, marble floors, rooftops, dark doorways, guards,- all the best bits of so many Thief levels in one FM.
Can we please have an expansion? More stuff to do in (and under) Templehill?
Pleeeease?!

Thanks for the comments.
For the crypt secret, there is nothing special you should need to do. As far as I am aware, no one else has had that problem; certainly the beta-testers never reported any problems in that area. Version 1.1 does not change anything there, so that will not help.
I started Under Templehill thinking that I wanted to try my hand at lots of different things, so I put in a crypt, a wilderness area, caves, mansion; as you say, a bit of everything. Makes it more interesting to build, as well as to play. I am afraid there are no plans for a sequel. I have another FM partly build, but I am also building a System Shock 2 FM, which is taking all my time at the moment.

Only just played this one - really enjoyed it, but reading this, I seem to have missed out on stuff in the crypt. Where is this giant skull and the eyeball things?
I destroyed the lower nexus by throwing the nearby crates down the pit from the top.
