I'd really appreciate any help here, I'm pretty solidly confused.
I'm running Vista, and I got SS2 to work finally. I'm able to start it up, watch the cutscenes, go through the Character creation process. During this time, movement works just fine.
However, once I load into the Von Braun, I can't move. There are 5 red balls centered around the reticle too. I can still spin with the mouse, and open the inventory, but none of the movement keys register. I've tried binding/rebinding them, but no luck!
Any thoughts, please!

Sounds like you're using some kind of gameplay mod?
Does the problem still happen if you run the game without any gameplay mods?
I suspect you're using Zygo's spawn mod and it's not letting you move until you've chosen the spawn level.
