Alright folks,
Sorry for doing this again so soon! I know I made a post recently on this, but it's far too cluttered for me to expect anyone to read it or gather anything from it, so I'm going to try and be very specific about my problem this time.
Whenever I try to load a map (any map, whether it be one from the original game or one I've made myself) into game mode, I watch it load up until the actual loading screen, then I hear the da-ding noise windows XP makes when an error occurs and it freezes. The only way out of this is by restarting my computer.
I'm quite sure it's nothing wrong with the editor, as I've installed it perfectly according to the rules in one of the threads here:
(
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=91952)
Other than this single issue, the editor works perfectly (except for the occasions where it doesn't open at all, but they are becoming few in number).
I have transferred all gmp files from the maps folder of the non-edit version to the maps folder of the edit version of DS, which appears to have helped others with this problem, but with no result.
I also tried creating a shortcut to T3 with the...
"C:\Thief3 Edit\System\T3.exe" tutorial3
...target, also to no avail, as the exact same thing occurs.
I have searched these forums for all known solutions to said problem, again, with no result.
I beg of you - anyone who can help me - to help! I've literally spent hours trying to figure this out and I'm ready to rip my hair out in clumps (rather than by individual strand, which is the stage I'm at right now).
Thank you very VERY much to anyone who helps me.

Have you tried using the non-debug build executable? See [wiki]LaunchingNonDebugBuildFromEditor[/wiki].
