Is Umbra the guy that's hard to kill and who carries nice weapons? Where can I find him?

I don't know where he is, but the Mourhold Museum wants his sword for a hefty reward :cheeky:, if you knew that, sorry I couldn;t help any :)

North east of Suran. Just up the mountain and you should spot him pretty easily.

Hello.
My one criticism of Morrowind is that combat is too easy. IMHO for those of us RPGers who concentrate on character development, Umbra and Dagoth Ur are the only characters where it was worthwhile casting personal effect spells.
Thanks to whoever designed the quest - it was a nice little fight in a sea of two-hit encounters.

Umbra is a stand alone quest.
He always wins and is bored with it and he wants to die in honor. So he asks you to kill him.

Umbra has a mighty great sword i think, but it didn't fit with my dashing Imperial Knight outfit, and purple isn't my favorite, i know most of you are disgusted of this way of thinking :)

found him! but he wasn't very difficult, and I'm only level 6 :confused: .Liked his sword though :)

my orc was a level 37 with full daedric armor, 100 in block and i beat him using no potions with about 13 hp left. sorta tough, sword would be nicer if it was "cast on strike", and if it wasn't purple =/. you can find better weapons, though. too bad i had to wipe out my character when exchanging my xbox :( wait, how could sad be a smiley...
