I suppose at this point you could make it a challenge to try and set the
Oblivion record for the biggest loot pile. See how much stuff you can amass in one location before the game starts generating errors. Who knows, maybe you could fill one of your houses up to the ceiling with swag.
Hmmm... Maybe I'll start a new character and try that myself. Make a "miser" class character, collect everything and sell nothing. "Hey, from the top of my loot pile you can see Hammerfell!"
You don't need to since apparently it's been (
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Things_to_Do_When_You%27re_Bored) done.:cheeky: In fact, someone somewhere has probably dropped bits of yarn and cheese on every shrine and doom stone just to do it.
OCD sufferers can get free therapy with this game. It may take longer, but at least ya ain't muckin' up the real world. A win/win for all.

Good link - bookmarked for the future. Maybe I'm already inadvertently going for a record how much stuff can you cram in one chest. Reason being, long ago I bought the hovel. I could see not much purpose in house buying (maybe I'll find one later) except to store stuff. So any stuff I find I suspect might be of use in the future I put in a chest. Every sigil, welkynd, etc. stone and soul gem I ever got is in there because I've not found a use for them yet. Surplus repair hammers, weapons I'm undecided pros and cons and so on.
I re-found the Arena closet BTW thanks. I'd forgotten that and assumed he just gave me the armour. As a beginner to Oblivion I just fought the first round to see what it was about. It seemed a bit tough but do-able (but then mud crabs and wolves and rats needed care by me at first!) So now I tried the arena and was surprised how easy it was to get to grand champion and how poor some of these opponents were compared to the creatures I'd faced elsewhere. Guess I just played it out of order and most would play that early. Some of the best fights I'd had outside were simple dagger fights with trolls which re-generate and on very rough sloping ground. The earliest of those I've saved because I've still not beat it on that early level.
And that curaisse of victory or whatever she gives you is poor and sold very quickly. Wished I'd kept the one off the champion as at least it looked better.
Stupid question: Does 20% chameleon curaisse plus 20% chameleon ring make 40% or do they just remain 20%?
Next to Thief (because of free FMs) this is the best value game I've bought at only £12.

Not a stupid question. Spell effects stack additively, so it makes 40%. Note that 100% Chameleon really ruins the fun of the game since you can't be attacked anymore.

yeah - I'm finding 20% similar to Thief in some ways for sneaking - controlled tension trying to find shadows. Total invisiblility might be OK for short bursts to get past impossible or extremely difficult situations.
