Do you already have them? I searched the gfx.pak and models.pak files and didn't find any weapon skins. Maybe in the CD version?

No idea. I've never even played Neocron. That picture just came up in a Google image search for "plasma cannon".

It's a good attitude for improvement :)
in a rather lowpoly case its quite easy to handtweak every polygon uv by hand, optimal placement, avoiding stretching and keeping the pixel density overall the same.

Do you use Max at all or mostly something else?
Blaydes: Are you sure you wouldn't rather just use the image for reference and make a new texture? Aside from the extra work it would allow the end product to look more appropriate for the ss universe. After all, a remake that closely resembles the original will be highly popular with just about everyone if it's well done.

Yes, I agree with you - if we can preserve the original look and feel of the fusion cannon while making it look a whole lot better, then it will be a success. The one above would fit really well with just a few changes.
