Hey guys. I'm going through UU for the first time. I bought my copies of both games on an online auction and they didn't come with any manuals. Naturally, I'd like to have the documentation for the game so I've been looking for some online versions of the manuals. I did a search through the forums, but any links for the manuals seem to be dead. Could anyone out there supply me with links to the manuals? Thanks a lot.
One more thing. Is there a way to turn down the volume of the music in game and turn up the sound effects. The sound effects in the game seem to be almost nonexistant, while the music blares. Thanks again.

I just had a look at the game to see how to adjust the volume settings. Guess they didn't have that in mind back then since I couldn't find a way to.
Try playing it in pure DOS. Since the game's sound environment was designed for it, maybe that will make it normal. Hope you get to enjoy this great game the right way. :D
Those manuals are excellent, btw. to PraetorJudis. :)

If you have a Soundblaster 16 (or possibly other variants or compatible soundcards as well), you can probably set the requied volume with the mixerset utility before running the game.
Here's a copy, if you don't have it: (

Good luck!
