Ultima Underworld 1&2 Unity Remake

As the topic says, a remake of Ultima Underworld 1&2 done in the Unity engine has been released:

If I understand correctly, only UU1 is fully playable - although that's already pretty cool. I never liked the Underworld games as much as the main-series Ultima games, but it's great to see people working on ways of bringing them into the 21st century.

It's not *really* a remake so much as a reverse engineering/re-implementation. More like Exult than AM2R. Seems interesting, but usually just prefer the original in these sorts of cases.

True. Just spreading the word as the guy went to a fair bit of work and I thought he deserved the good of his work becoming better known.

He has an extensive (https://www.systemshock.org/index.php?topic=6045.0) thread over on Systemshock.org that covers much of went and still is going into it. Quite fascinating stuff.
