I tried out the "Sleeping Bomb" FUIII adventure last night, whereby you ferry a pair of scientists to the crater of Mt Rainier and back again.
I fear they weren't too impressed when the rear half of the plane separated from the front after I came in way too low for the landing :)
It told me the adventure was incomplete, but I had the feeling it was only just beginning... the sim doesn't have a tramping mode, though!
Definitely a fun landing to attempt, however :) (Trying to land atop the space needle is always good for a laugh, too :)

Yea,
I can't seem to complete that challenge. 1 thing its a long, slow flight from the pod to the mountain. Plane keeps sliding on them slopes, and besides, I can't tell where the summit actually is. I swear it seems like I've been to the highest parts of that mountain and still get the scientist egging me on to get to the summit. Oh well.
2 new challenges were posted at Avsim the past couple of days.
1 using Hennies new Baron HvP, and another for the B747's.
