does anyone know how to remove the nasty shiny stuff from enchanted items (without removing the enchantment itself). i just got an enchanted helm and wow does it look bad. i think i read somewhere tuco knows something about this

There was a mod for it. But it didn't work for me. So I just took the enchantment off my helm =D
Check the mod sections of websites, there's more than one if I remember correctly.
From what I gather it's not an easy process to do, unfortunately... so a patch(not a mod really) is required, unless you want to crack it datta datta.

See, battlemage isn't a lazy ass and he will go fetch you a link... give him money.
I on the other hand will only fetch a link if I want to flame someone, or want to strut Tuco's stuff...
I think I will do the latter.
