I've seen a ton of TikToks lately saying that the US government says UFO's are real. I'm assuming they meant alien UFO's and not just something flying that they can't identify. So that's that. No more speculation. The aliens are real. What's next?

So, people suddenly started to believe the word of the US government now?

People will believe an anonymous account on 4chan if it tells them what they want to hear.

I mean, where else would you go, if you were a government official with top security clearance?
If your house catches on fire, you call the fire department, if you need Osama Bin Laden assassinated, you call on the SEALs, if you need to fight a cabal of satanic pedophile baby murderer elites, you obviously go to an anonymous image board to post cryptic messages, questions that play to your audience's preconceived notions, and predictions that might or might not become true, depending on how hard they are reinterpreted after the fact.

This guy told me that this other guy worked with a guy who was told by a guy that they found non-human remains in a crash site.

After Bob Lazar, every time a new UFO whistleblower speaks out, I skeptically withhold judgment until I find out whether they've written a book or started a business based on it. The ones claiming aliens always seem to.

Thinking out loud. A few discrete but perhaps intertwined issues extracted from the UFO (UAP) milieu and my take on each.
Is there extra-terrestrial life? - Definitely.
Is there intelligent/sentient extra-terrestrial life? - Very likely.
Is there extra-terrestrial life capable of inter-stellar travel? - Possibly.
Are extra-terrestrials currently present, on or about planet earth? - Possibly.
Are there aerial objects, displaying flight characteristics unexplainable by present human technology, operating in our atmosphere? - Apparently.
Are these objects being operated by human adversaries of any nation-state? - Not likely.
Are these objects being operated by extra-terrestrial beings? - Possibly.
Are they natural phenomenon? - Possibly.
Are there any human factions with a vested interest in suppressing public knowledge of the truth about UAPs, whatever that is?- Absolutely.
Are there any human factions with a vested interest in exposing the truth UAPs, whatever that is?- Absolutely.
Are there any human factions possessing complete knowledge about UAPs? - Nope.
Are the aliens just fucking with us? - Possible.
Are there various alien factions pursuing their own agendas, either cooperatively with each other or as adversaries? - Possibly.
I am sure there are more iterations.

You used the right term here. Aerodynamics are aerodynamics. I don't think there's a good case there's something about aerodynamics we don't understand yet. But there are lots of ways senses can be deceived with odd perspectives, etc. E.g., if some vehicle is moving towards you and makes a perpendicular turn, in hazy conditions it'll look like something not moving suddenly bolting off in a direction at Mach 1.
I think the existence of drones may throw a lot of people off since they can be made into almost any shape and move in unintuitive ways to our current experience.
As for alien life, I think we'd get some electromagnetic signal before anything else.
If I'm skeptical, it's mostly just based on grounds of the great distances involved. Even the nearest stars with planets capable of supporting any life are already dozens to 100s of light years away. So some species even travelling at the speed of light would have had to received a signal from us and then started travelling with information about us as we were 150~200 years ago, before radios were even invented for them to receive signals from. And the chances for intelligent life in that range are still vanishingly small. If you wanted to talk about a range where intelligent life is more likely, now you're talking about millions of light years away.

All I've learned is:
Have people seen things flying in the air that they couldn't explain? Yeah
Is there any evidence whatsoever of extraterrestrial life having visited earth? Nah
