I am not attacking you that you cheat. If you wanna cheat and have fun with it I am not complaining.
The only thing is that I don't understand how you can have more fun with playing when you cheat. Like I said in an earlier post, when I cheat I am bored of a game in 1 week.
So go and cheat away as long as it doesn't affect MY game :p

Regarding the "How can you enjoy a game if you cheat?" question, for me it's simple impatience. I've played RPG's in one fashion or another for ~20 years, and at first there was challenge in obtaining the highest of the high stats/skills/etc. Now, however, it's more akin to "Okay, now what dance steps does this joe-shmoe game developer want me to trudge through in order to get high enough to actually do something interesting?"
Or, to put it another way, I find discovering the game's plot rather more interesting than ultra-generic hack-and-slashing (or otherwise repetitive motions) for umpteen gazillion hours, just to raise some numbers that I can twiddle with a couple dozen keystrokes. ;)

Am I the only one that was able to finish the main quest without cheating? That's just sad :tsktsk:
When I play Morrowind, I don't go for an Uber character... I make one that I will roleplay. For example, my Thief character is only a member of the Theives' guild and the Great House Hlaalu (Need I mention the Ashlanders and Blades?). And because of this, I've never enchanted an item.
I'm having loads of fun, and my character is level 30ish. I still have trouble when I encounter some spell casters, however, I find that dodging their spells is much better than getting your resistance up really high. And since my sneak is quite high, I usually avoid combat.
One other thing... I've never understood how people can loose quest items. I mean to me it is 100% obvious if an item will be used in a quest. If the item has a unique name... then it's going to be used in a quest. That doesn't mean that non-unique items will never be used, it just doesn't matter if you get them from somewhere else.

And I wont buff any skills that I dont care about, so mainly all magic crap will be forgotten. Enchantments I intend to buy when I have the cash & gems for constant effect. The game offers plenty of good stuff right from the box.

I finished the main plot without cheating. I joined the mage guild, fighters guild with this one.
Now I started a new char with who I will roleplay.

Well shit, for roleplaying it was easy to play Tuco... strange nordic demi-god who gathered his power in the Morrowind isle then rose to power and slew the entire head of state system there! AS well as anyone who look at him funny, or even worse ( think random killing... like the guy in schindler's list!)
As for cheating, MW is so easy that any joe shmow can half ass his way through the main plot, there's no pride in saying, 'Oh I did MW without cheating!'... however, unless you roleplay a 'hiker', then I don't see how MW is all too fun, running up and down the same etc etc I've said this all before.
gogo setspeed->200!
Is that the command??
