How hard would it be to add these into the official missions?

I think it would be easy to just replace something else (climbing gloves?) but I was playing around on docks2 & that map is filled with wood surfaces which allowed you to go into places you originally couldn't. The OMs were not designed with rope arrows in mind (maybe some were) but I'd like to try playing the OMs with the rope arrows instead of climbing gloves but not yet.
I'd like to iron out some bugs before implementing them into OMs. Especially fix the limited climbing ability of the ladder (I've been experimenting). The FMs could implement them as they are because we know the limitations of the rope arrows.
A note on the experiments:
I tried changing the property of the RopeArrowLadder when the player frobs the rope (thus needing extra scripts to frob the arrow for retrieval):
When I am frobbed by player
Toggle [blsLadder] on linked objects myself
Toggle [blsRope] on linked objects myself
Reset script conditions and actions
But that didn't do anything
The extra scripts for arrow retrieval:
1st script on RopeArrow "RopeArrowFrob":
When I am frobbed by player
Send trigger message [RopeArrowFrob]
Reset script conditions and actions
2nd script on RopeArrowLadder "RopeArrowFrobDelete":
Received trigger message [RopeArrowFrob]
While linked object(s) [PLAYER] are within 96 unreal units from MYSELF
Delete linked object(s) [MYSELF]
Reset script conditions and actions

For some completeness, with Ascottk's excellent work, these links make sense.

(

* There you will actually find a working T3 Rope-arrow.
* Also it includes several T3 mods and a new Keeper Assassin mod, to me.
* And Rantako's superb work needs to be mentioned around here, also.
(True, this is the "awakening" of a fairly old message.)
But this FM and its mods are like brand-new "greatness" to a lot of us, T3'ers!

And (

Again, it's a shame that almost all the old
explorers are gone by now. :erg:

I can't get that video to play. I'm using Firefox; should I try IE?
I have Krellek's Labyrinth but haven't found the rope arrows yet. I thought they were ok in Avoiding Mistrust. Using them can be a bit awkward and they don't look or sound perfect but gameplaywise they really improve things.

Wow, that is awesome. Does it still make the ladder footstep sound when you climb?
Thanks for that,

Love the animation!! :joke:
This is the original Thief ropearrow! And that's a lot better than the one of Rantako

This whole think is tricky. There was a rope climb animation, but somehow it didn't work (or at least not until replaced with an original movement which could be wall climbing or something...?). However, I remember reading that someone wasn't even sure if they were already far enough to change the animation which could be possible after knowing the Garrett skeleton better or something. That's why I think it's so bad that all the guys working on it are gone. No one knows exactly what's up. :weird:
@jtr: Thanks for uploading. :)
