Otherwise I'd be wearing a Tri-Op baseball cap right now.
You mean you can't even use it for yourself? You need permission even if it's for personal uses?

Commerical use. Anything involving money, really. The issue is pretty non-negotiable, due to various copyright laws and Eidos's need to keep everything they make.

a) asking what is in the store before you look to see is sort of dumb. It is free to look at things.
b) Personal use is something entirely else. But by the terms of our agreement with CafePress (and the same agreement exists with any other legitimate / reputable printing business, including devart) we may not offer or display work for which we have not secured permission / hold copyright. And let's not play yet another round of "Who owns the rights?" I can assure you one thing, and it is all you need to know: We do not own the rights. And here's another assurance thrown in as a bonus: Securing the rights would be more expensive (in terms of time, effort, and most importantly money) than is affordable.

wait. i am confused.
So if I wanted to make a sticker with the triop name and logo, or one of SHODAN, could I if it were only for me and not for financial gain? I have the means to make personal bumper stickers, and if I can please tell me. I have several ones I made of dummy corporations and companies. My favorite is LKSR cycles, a buisness a friend of mine and I planned to start (LKSR are our initials back to back), we never did, but we made some cool looking stickers in white lettering in Impact/bold/italic font. I could really pump out a cool looking triop or shodan, yet the shodan would cost a shitload because of the colour. please tell me if i can, I wouldnt sell any.

Listen, you can draw the Microsoft logo on your ass for all I care.
We (as in TTLG) are not allowed to use imagery for which we have not secured the rights. You can take a biro and scribble a perfect replica of the most lawyer-happy corporation's most cherished intellectual property and sell it to the Algerians for a million bucks if you want. That's between you and your hairdresser.
