[..] Also ask him what he likes the most about Thief games.
He didn't play the games, so I doubt it would be a good question to ask.

Just listened to the Crysis 2 trailer - that's definitely not him. (IMO).

Who created "Benny"? Was it someone at Looking Glass Studios, or did Mr. Russell come up with the idea himself?

Can you just switch on a voice do you have to build up to it?
If you reprise a character for a sequel, and it's been a long time, is it easy to recapture the original voice? Does it depend on the voice?

Where do you get that sexy voice as Xerxes and can I get a voice like that?

I think that advice for aspiring voice actors would be of broad interest. Not just mechanics and voice craft and acting, but also the business side of it, agents, contacts, auditions, and so on. What mistakes did he make in his career; how would he advise someone he cared about who wants to enter the industry.

The only thing I want to know, in addition to some of the questions here, is: Would he be willing to do some fan work for this community if the right campaign/project ever came along?

How about:
• How was the industry different in the early days compared to now?
• What was the energy like working for LGS? How much room for creative input were you allowed?
• Are there any particular ideas fans would recognize that could be credited to you?
• Has anyone ever recognized your voice in the wild or do you get to enjoy some anonymity outside of work? If not do you anticipate your recent work (Dishonored 2) might change that?

This was covered somewhat on the previous page if you go back and read through, but I do plan on touching on the topic briefly. I'm guessing anything directly to do with a commercial product like Thief (Garrett, Karras, etc) is off limits, but maybe (for example) something unofficial like The Dark Mod would be OK. Of course, he is a professional, so you'd still have to pony up some $$$.
Related to that, it was interesting in one of the previous podcasts, the interviewers asked him to say one of their first names in the Mr. Handy voice, and he said he would need to check with Bethesda first and get back to them first. Very touchy legal stuff I'm sure.

No need to ask this one. He has been asked on at least one occasion to voice Garrett for FMs and politely said "No", saying it would be in violation of Eidos' ownership of the character IP. You can find the threads about it here if you search. As for voicing other non-canon characters, why would he work pro bono?

So does that mean that this community is in violation of Eidos' IP ownership?
And aside from the occasional contest prize pool, everyone here is working pro-bono, the only people making any money is the hosting service for ttlg.com.
I suppose it's easier to say no, it isn't kosher, but I just heard SR do Karras in an interview. (
http://www.fancypantsgangsters.com/shows/ep-86-stephen-russell/) starting at the 8:15 mark.
To make those assumptions, because he is a professional, is detracting to those professional people here, IMO.
