I was just wondering if you've got any kind of interesting statistics to show us?
I don't know what kind of stats but I'll let you use your imagination! :p
Um... Were there more posts in 2004 than in 2003, or new members... or something. It's been pretty quiet here lately and there haven't been that many active new members either.
Hmmm. I think you posted a thread like this last year, didn't you?!
:)

In 2003 there were 3049 new members, so far (there will probably be a couple more today) there have been 4824 new members in 2004.
During 2003 members made 221,118 new posts in 14,559 threads, while in 2004 we have (so far) made 223,855 posts in 14,498 threads.

That's interesting. In 2003 there was a post/thread ratio of 15.18 whilst in 2004 there was a post/thread ratio of 15.44.
I know that sounds like nothing, but this means there is a trend towards less people making less new threads, but being more content to contribute in already existing threads. I wonder if 2005 will continue this trend?

I try not to start too many threads in 2005 then! :p
Thanks David.

Talking of which, I've got this fantastic recepie for homemade lemonade.
6 Lemons worth of lemon juice
5oz sugar
2 1/2 pints boiling water
mix the ingredients together then have it sit around untill cold before drinking.
F*cking gorgeous. How did the shops get it so wrong? :D
Gingerbread Man on 1/1/2005 at 02:32
Because the shops sell you potassium sorbate, monosodium glutamate, and niacin. Fuckers.
You go girl. That's the only way lemonade shall be made in my new country, except we will use Meyer lemons because... well, just because. If you know what a Meyer lemon tastes like, you know why.

Okay, what in the world do lemons have to do with the topic at hand? :weird:
Interesting stats. I guess the messages: "Stop making new threads for problems that were answered two threads earlier!", "Read the FAQ!", and "Use the search button!" are starting to get through. :p
