Are we back for good? It's always scary when the site goes down. "Will it be back?"

The thingie stopped working but it's okay now.

Yes. No more blank pages "Done." Or pieces of TTLG home-page with error messages and code superimposed over it. Yes, this is much better. Whew!

Whenever this happens I'm plagued by the "/forums/" page dying on me and having ctrl-F5 it until something rights itself with DNS or cache or whatever technology powers these ghastly things.

Ah! It just froze up, again. But without the extra textual stuff.

Did the thingie go again? I needed my TTLG fix, damn it! :( Glad it's back up anyway! :D

I need to double check with Saam, but I believe the hardware firewall tripped up and reset all its settings to default, which are to block all incoming connections.
[edit]Well this time it wasn't hardware related...

hey hey,
In case you were wondering...power outage last night around midnight in the whole area here, I freaked out initially (was at home then) cuz I thought an imminent hardware failure happened but I drove to the office at 1am and saw the entire city block was blacked out. Came up sometime in the middle of the night

Ah. Good to know. Like I said, it's always scary. I experienced some other unrelated problems connecting to some sites last night, coinciding with the lack of TTLG's presence. It was a while before I narrowed it down and realized it wasn't my laptop, or the Wi-Fi service.
