Being allergic to pretty much everything means that's about as close as I get to a pet.
Perhaps someday in the future I will rebel against my sinuses and get a cat.

My wife is a dog groomer ( I work in the kennel and as groomer assistant. I am also learning how to assist in surgery and do in-house lab work as a vet tech) She thought your dog had a decent groom. Do you do it yourself or have a groomer?
Also, my new english bulldog is settling in nicely, in case anybody cares. He has found a spot he claimed as his, and quit panting and pacing nonstop. No, the first night was not much fun he either of us. I took him to work w/me tonight and he got his fist bath (a chlorhexidine shampoo treatment for his skin allergies) and I started to work on his poor ears. His owners neglected the fuck out of his severe allergies and his ears are seeping and swollen shut. I already have got 5 gauze pads FULL of nearly black gunk from his ears, and am using epi-otic to loosen the rest up and give hime some relief in the meantime. Assholes.

Those pictures is him a day or two after the groomer. Once a month Jack goes to a pro groomer because its just too much work for me, and I cant ever make him look good. I comb him every other day, and I keep him trimmed up, but only the groomer can get his legs and head the way I want. He doesnt shed so hes constant maintenance. Still better than shedding.
Im glad your dogs okay and away from the other owner. hes a cutie btw and sounds like hes gonna have a great time with you guys
edit: plus I think the groomer uses some sort of doggie bleach on his fur, I can never get his mouth that white when i wash him.
