That cat caught herself some young Johnny Cash and likes it. :D

Tocky, did you make that cat pass out on your ass.

Sounds like a faulty study if that blurb is accurate as to how they formulated the questions. If you ask a person whether they're "a cat person" or "a dog person", that's going to predispose them into treating the rest of the questions from the perspective of a cat person or a dog person, whatever those terms mean to them. Would've been better to just sneak in a question about pets in the middle of other background questions without giving away that that's what the study is about.

So basically, according to that study, since I consider myself to be a cat and a dog person then I'm an extroverted, agreeable, conscientous, and openly neurotic person?
Oh my.

Yes, and if you like additional species on top of cats and dogs you're going to be a complete mess of clashing personality attributes.

not notice when a car pulls right up to her, honking all the way.

*Officially, it's short for "ADELAIDA", which is the Spanish form of ADELAIDE: From the Germanic name Adalheidis which was composed of the elements adal "noble" and heid "kind, sort, type". This was the name of the wife of Otto the Great, and also the wife of King William IV of Britain. Also the name of an excellent winery we visited in Paso Robles.
(ahem)
But between you, me and the lamppost... we were talking about ADD (can't imagine WHY that topic would come up in our house?!?!), and we decided to just name the dog "ADD(ie)", which is incidentally a perfectly appropriate name for a Border Collie
