I forgot how much young cats love killing. My new cat is one year old and I get at least a mouse a day. Sometimes I wake up to her wrestling blackbirds with feathers and guts all over. If she finds a nest then she gets them all and I have to scoop up half dead babies, and once I found her playing with a squirrel tail in the kitchen.
Mornings are a game of find the entrails.
Buster is what...~7 months old now? I take the dogs out for their morning walk @ 4:30 am everyday. Well, today we go out and 4 feet from the front door is a mangled baby bunny head. He was out most of the night last night, I just KNOW it was him. His first confirmed kill!

Why can't they stay small though? :(

Here's a nice shot of my very dumb cats I took from my cellphone. Every winter, when it starts getting cold out, the cats start heading towards that corner above the fridge to stay warm. Whoever arrives first gets the corner and a haughty expression, while the other only gets the fridge, and has to look dejected.
It also shows I either need to paint the cabinets or quit smoking in the kitchen. Or just quit smoking.

You could try a comfy chair facing your sunniest window, or turn up the heating a little.

Look at it this way, as they get bigger, less cute and less playful, they also stop urinating on the carpet, and can be trusted not to steal shoes.

Hahaha, those looks on their faces are priceless, Renzatic.
BTW, paint is cheap! :D

Yeah, and quitting smoking is cheaper than that. Problem is, every time I think about quitting, painting and scrubbing away all the nicotine stains starts looking good.
