I've always had cats but our household is down to 2 now. I'd like more but my husband isn't too keen on that idea.
This is KoKo, our prima donna. She's affectionate when it suits her but prefers to be left alone at other times. She's very quiet and tends to communicate more with her body language than her voice.

Unfortunately, the English bulldog I told about in the first post, and the inspiration for this thread, was put to sleep yesterday. My little buddy was having quite a few health problems that were seriously complrimising his comfort and overall well-being. He finally ended up snapping at us, he bit me last Friday in the face (unprovoked). He has had a shitty 6 months. BTW, we still work for the animal hospital, and have had nearly unlimited resources and medical help available. Battled his incontinence and allergies harder than most professionals recommended. I hated it when our dog had to be put down. Poor girl was half blind and 14 or 15 years old. She handled her age pretty well, though.
