Aja, I do believe Noid gives Zappa more credit than you are suggesting. He is more than likely, as you thought, giving you shit to yank your chain. But he is also saying that DO YOU HAVE TO BRING FRANK ZAPPA INTO EVERY MUSICAL DISCUSSION THAT WE HAVE?
Fucks sake, the amount of times me and noid have been at fisticuffs over the merit of a particular artist or style of music is countless, however, Noid does have a perceptive mind (when he uses it that is).
So the bottom line is this - Satriani/Vai fucking rock and dont let Noid tell you any different!

Albinoni's Adagio is one of the few "classics" to grace my winamp from time to time when I feel like celebrating drunken sadness. It's good for nothing else.
