Is it any good? Seems like it could be one of those books where it teeters on the edge of fantasy cheese. If it is decent, I'll buy it. Always up for some new fantasy.
Yeah, some romance done badly, but not like it is UNBEARABLE. Minus because of vampires.
Actually the 3rd book is the best so she is improving.

Yes, Peadar is a man. :cheeky:
I think SeriousCallersOnly was talking about Strangeblue's book.
Peadar's book is very good, yes. It's aimed at the young adult market, so it is a very easy read, and it is by his own admission pure pulp adventure - no pretensions to great literature. It is really well written though. Worth a shot I'd say.
Bearing in mind that Peadar is a good friend of mine, I think he is a very good writer. I've read a few of his short stories as well and they're really good too. There's a couple of his older short stories and bits from The Inferior on (
http://www.frozenstories.com) his website.

Yeah ... about that. I had a question, if you don't mind.
So, like, in 1 Kings 4:26 I read:
"And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen."
And then, like, a little later in 2nd Chronicles 9:25 I read:
"And Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen; whom he bestowed in the chariot cities, and with the king at Jerusalem."
Soooo ... did Solomon have 40,000 stalls of horses or 4,000 stalls of horses?
I'm just getting mixed signals here and was curious what gives...

I co-authored a book on making educational children's radio shows. And I edited one on civil society and the media. It's all so much less cool than fiction. :(
And Paedar sounds like the name of a paedophillic panda bear. Just saying.
