I second edinburgh! Everybody deserves an excuse to go to edinburgh!... A race up or picnic on top of arthur's seat and then off to the ye' olde bars around the royal mile (though punting would be pretty cool too, but I didn't get that job in cambridge :( ) Paintballing or laser tag is fun, but I know of none in edinburgh ... there is an indoor snowboarding centre in glasgow though!
