RBJ, I respectfully ask that you cease and desist from all further communications and hostilities with Mr Thief13x Edumacated Esq, as the needless verbal and intellectual incontinence resultant is causing considerable distress to many parties and your contributory liability in this matter should be strongly reviewed.

Mate, all steak isn't shit. Maybe you've just had pretty average steaks for a lot of your life, and the fact that you think the natural accompaniments are sides of chips + sauce/steak rubs supports this being the case.
Oh undoubtedly. Nearly every steak I've ever eaten has indeed been "average" (we're using average in the sense of food you might as well not bother with, right?). But then, nearly all steak is average. It's the signature dish of average. But then, despite all the enthusiasm it gets lavished with, it's not the most inspiring culinary concept, is it.
But here's a thing. I've only ever eaten steak with other people, but in all those occasions I can count the times my fellow steak eaters have found their steak to be 'a bit average' on one hand (and still have fingers spare). Steak is to be enthused about, even when it is plainly lacking in appeal. It's part of the ceremony it seems.
And of the people that I've eaten steak out with the vast majority would only ever pick steak from a menu (okay, they might push the boat out and go for ribs once in a blue moon). Sure, there'd be curry from an Indian and a pizza from pizza express, but stick 'em in an English/French restaurant then it'll be steak every time. I think it's a shame that people feel compelled to adhere to the same old average food. Granted that's not everybody that has ever eaten steak ever in the whole world, but I'm guessing it's at least a somewhat familiar story to many.
One last thing. Everyone and his dog on TTLG seems to be cooking and eating great steak and visiting really good steak houses. And yet you talk as though it's an exclusive commodity? Which is it?
Steak and kidney pie I could go for.

Steak is very nice. Sorry jay, I really can't support your argument. Whether it's just a matter of different tastes or whatever, you obviously don't like steaks - and that's OK! Not everyone has to like the same food!

cept if you dont like steaks you are a freak
