If anyone's wondering why the Premier League website now looks absolutely shite, it's because PremiumTV (purveyors of the worst crimes against intuitive web design known to man - you may have seen their work if you've visited any "official" club site in the last few years) inherited the contract from the Press Association on Aug 1st.
Wow, that was a long sentence.

Urgh... I was so used to the old look.
In other news, the season hasn't even started and I already have injured players in my squad. This is looking promising ¬¬

Ugh. PremiumTV is something which manages to instill utter rage. Also, e-Ticketing, who have combined into some sort of monstrosity which ravages club websites nationwide, via which have just made my attempt to buy three seats into some sort of epic mission whereby I've actually ordered one seat, three times over. This has then been copied into three orders, so its system registers my order as one seat, nine times, which on the same page tells me has ordered ok and has errored. The follow up then tells me thank you for renewing your season ticket, which I've never had. Lovely.

For anyone hopelessly devoted to the "Fantasy Sport" genre, it might be worth trying out (
http://www.fantasyrafa.com/) Fantasy Rafa:

Fantasy Rafa is a fantasy football game with a twist. All you have to do is predict who Rafael Benitez will pick as his starting line up.
Last season Rafa changed his starting line up 99 times in a row, and with a host of new signings, he's sure to do it all over again.

I suppose that must be more interesting to anyone hopelessly devoted to Liverpool FC, SD ;)

Right, you still have about 13 hours to get in on this at the ground floor, so if anyone was thinking of joining us who hasn't, now would be a pretty good time!

I'll be lucky if I don't start with negative points. The amount of injuries in my team already forced me to trade three players, with the resulting -8 points :p

Looks like my Rooney-centric strategy from last season just got scuppered. :( Having said that, yay David Healey!

Bah, sticking by my original decision to keep Earnshaw instead of getting Chopra backfired, as did my decision to put out a back 3 of Carragher Mellberg Carvalho and leave Shorey on the bench did, in spectacular style. I think all my luck got used up in the choice of Martins as captain.

Erm, I think I'll pass ...
