Now
that's the spirit of thief ... but we evidently need to work on the spirit of the TTLG hub...

I've oft considered this place a home for smarties with a taste for depth
Exactly how I think of TTLG also!

1 month later...
So, was there enough discussion here to generate backroom rumblings or what? Where are we with this? I think people care enough about the community to contribute, so let's keep the legs on this thing.

If more people could post their sentiments on what TTLG means to them and what draws them here day after day or year after year, then GBM will get more of what he asked for, at least.

The legs are on, it's just a little tricky balancing our immediate real lives with the whole thing. But there's crawling going on. Soon walking, then running.
This thread has been very helpful, and I realise everything must seem a bit fizzled at the moment after an initial burst of enthusiasm.
You'll know when things are getting hot when I start soliciting contributions... because sustainability is the hard part. Without a constant feed of content (and I've already worked out a great way to cope with the fact that constant content is very hard to come by, at least in terms of what the hub will ideally become) all the work in the world will amount to nothing.
(also I'm surprised it's only been a month... I was already starting to feel a little guilty because it's been such a long time since this thread was posted)

Glad to hear it and always willing to lend a hand with any element.

Alright, with that in mind, I like TTLG because I like being surrounded by people who play the only game I am good at, even though I play it poorly. I also like being surrounded by people who understand the impulse that makes you think, "If I blackjack the lady in front of me, I can have her place in line.
