BOOK CLUB KICK
So yeah, we've gone a bit dormant, but hopefully you are all reading the excellent Kavalier and Clay while scribbling numerous notes for the looming discussion on February 1st.
We do, of course, need a new book to read in February and discuss in March. The above candidates have been noted and will be carried over when the ballots are created in a few days, but I wanted to give everyone the chance to get in any last minute submissions.
Suggest away!

Sorry about my lack of Book Club participation - stuff came out (like, me having to read a goddamn astronomy textbook instead). Am probably too late for kavalier and clay, but will try and catch February's.
Anyway, I submit Watchmen by Alan Moore, if I'm allowed to do graphic novels.
If not, I'll throw in Slaughterhouse 5, since this club seems to appreciate the classics to some degree.

Argh, am still reading Motherless Brooklyn, never mind Kavalier and Clay. I'll catch up some day, I hope.

Come on the Stitch, where's this discussion thread?
Also, have many people actually managed to finish K&C?

Still going through it, me.

I finished it last year, looking forward to the discussion.

I finished it a while back. Great book, although I wasn't entirely happy with the ending. Also looking forward to the discussion.
