I dont load the game through steam, although it is installed in my steam games folder. I use a custom launcher which makes it easier to use various mods and stuff, will that affect online gameplay through steam?

Shouldn't be a problem at all, PigLick. Last Saturday we used Steam for the voice chat, which worked well, so if everyone is on Steam I'd go for that again, but it shouldn't make a difference whether you launch the game through Steam or not. (Not sure whether Steam voice chat supports more than four people, but we'll face that problem when we get there.)

I wondered why is there no ARMA thread on this forum. I have all the games except 3 on the discs but my DVD-ROM is fucked up right now. But I own an ARMA 3 and I play it very regularly with some people from Zeus people and its cooperative missions are the best bits of gaming I had ever. So, anyone up to some ARMA 3? In case add me on Steam: HolyKrep. Because I don't know if I want new DVD-ROM and can't find anyone who can borrow it to me for at the time.

Re: HUD stuff - sounds okay to me, Jason. I've started playing Veteran in SP to get better, but you're right, until we're more practiced playing at regular difficulty would probably be better.
I might be able to make in two weeks' time, but I can't guarantee it. It's more likely I won't be able to make it again until 19 October. Do you guys want to go ahead, schedule a game and I'll join in if I can?

Would you guys perhaps be up for a later session, namely 5pm UK time? Can't guarantee I'll make it, but it's looking pretty good.

5pm is borderline-doable. Wouldn't be able to play for more than an hour. Earlier is better. (but if I do come I'll make sure I have that expansion this time!)

Vojtechsonik: I've just added you to my friends and will invite you to the group ASAP. If everyone has ARMA 3 I'd suggest that we try that on Saturday evening - Neb's mentioned that there are already some fun small coop missions.
