I tried the ctrl + F5, but it didn't help.

Strange, it works without a problem here. What browser are you using?

IE and Opera can search forums, but not individual threads. No problems with Mozilla.

I have the same problem, even after the ctrl+F5. The window doesn't drop down, and left clicking on it does nothing. So I just right click on Search and "open in new window" to get to the Search page.

Speaking of searches, how do you search for two words without using the OR operator?
Try this
Search>Advanced Search
Search by Keyword > waterway tunnel
search thread titles only
only in the FM forum
youll get 163 results:eek: most associated with tunnel
+waterway +tunnel >no
"waterway tunnel" >no
waterway AND tunnel >no:bored:
