All the ones up to the 1980s ones are great. i can't vouch for the later ones, not having read them. Actually, the original novel wasn't that great from what I remember. If you're going to get any I'd suggest starting with the 1970s "The Stainless Steel Rat Saves the World", and "The Stainless Steel Rat Wants You"
