I'm trying to get hold of it as well, but am not paying that kind of money for it. Why isn't it on budget for £5?
Sneaksie - check your PMs. :)

The industry just doesn't work that way, as games get older they will be harder to find. And when the sellers know how bloody awesome game it is, they want to make good profits. :erm:

I would like to point out that is the same version as the one on games warehouse. i would also like to say i would doubt that copy has both discs (the black diamond version comes with 2 discs - one patched version of ss2, one unpatched). You'de be better off buying it direct from games warehouse.

In a few threads people say they have seen a copy on Ebay for £x or $x - but since it is an auction that is only the starting price, and the final price is likely to be much more - especially with nine days to go. I watched one recently and within a few days it had gone up in price by £15, with many days left.
At the end of the day it is a good game with huge replay value: either save up and get it (or request it for birthdays/xmas), or play something else. The more copies that still get sold, the more it sends a sign to games companies that games like this are long-term sellers; whereas the latest shitty EA sport title may sell well, but only for a short period - after that no-one buys it because a new version is out. Maybe then companies will start to consider the long-term instead of the short-term, and we will get more of this type of game.

Maybe, but I doubt EA would see that pattern. :o

Considering the devs are bankrupt and the publisher could not give a rats about the game just bittorrent it..

I'd imagine the TTLG forum mods wouldn't like your statement, considering the link that Jeshibu posted. Its true the devs are bankrupt, but 1.) id feel bad downloading it for free and 2.) wether the publisher gives a rats ass or not, its still illegal.

sNeaksieGarrett is right Ringer, no matter how you put it, it's still illegal. :erm:
EA own the publishing rights, right?
