well i just became the arch-mage of the mage's guild. except my stats are wayyyy off from having one at 90 and two at 35.. so i need to find Leles Birian (master enchant trainer) the guides say he is east of piernette's farmhouse east of pelagiad, but i haven't been able to find the farmhouse. I have searched all around pelagiad, up to the dren plantation, but to no avail. Someone please tell me where i can find Leles Birian.

Leles Birian is the Destruction trainer and is in the Ascadian Isles Region. Qorwyn is the Enchantment trainer and he is in Indoranyon, way down under in a cavern. You may want to save before you go and meet with the guy - he attacked me for some reason when I went to talk with him. I ended up reloading the game 4 or 5 times before he would increase my stats. Once you get into the talk menu bribe him until his favor is near or at 100 % so you can get the training you want.

*nod* Yeah, he's got a 90% chance of attacking, and only a 30% chance of saying hello (I know that's 120% [or more, w/ his flee factor] - take it up with the developers :p).
Most NPCs will stay quiet for at least a few seconds, giving you ample time to run up to them and do as howie suggests (excepting scripted events, NPCs won't attack if they like you 100%). If need be, try using the Boots of Blinding speed and/or a few potions/enchantments to increase your speed so you can run up to 'em fast enough.

heh sorry about putting enchant trainer on there. I meant destruction. so what general direction from pelagiad is he? b/c i've searched all around everywhere...

You know.. I myself remember spending about 20 min looking for the destruction trainer, and I never did find her. Hopfully editor master Forsythe will point us in the right direction. I ended up just having a spellmaker create a spell "poison self 1 pt", and just cast the hell out of it. Never did get it topped off though.
There are a few known bugs with some of the master trainers in the game. For me, the Med Armor trainer isn't there at all, and the Armorer trainer doesn't give me the option to train from him. Just a bug. Hopefully that isn't the case here though, and we just weren't looking in the right place.

heh i have a 1 pt fire spell.. went from lvl 50 to 70 with it. and i'm not even going to think about going from 70 to 100...... i'd rather sit here for days waiting for someone who can give me a definitive answer. (Forsythe)

Are you playing the X-box, or PC version? I remember seeing a mod for the PC version somewhere, that was supposed to fix the master trainer bugs. I'm an X-boxer though :erg:

To find Leles Birian go north from Vivec Foreign Quarter, pass the boat and stilt strider and continue until you see a bridge to the east, cross that and follow the road north and continue past the first farmhouse on your left until you come to another farm house (should be north of you). You should then find the master trainer of Destruction wandering a bit to the east.
If you have delivered Beluelle's silver bowl (mini quest initiated by picking it up in the small cave west of Pelegiad) to Piernette you will know the place (it's almost the same directions you are given).

I believe that farmhouse is east northeast of Pelagiad on the main trail -- shouldn't be hard to find with the speed boots. I think she is in the farmhouse itself, in the top bed room of the farmhouse.
