I don't know the details of what he did, so that would obviously affect one's judgment. But at least for my quote, I was going off what I knew from his posts on the Darkmod forum. He was obsessed with things like the way light hits skin and getting just the right texture, and I found that kind of obsession consistent with something like Dali sitting in a closet to watch other people change (for his art vs to jerk off vs just marveling at the spectacle? There wasn't really a difference for Dali anyway. All three were open game).
I guess thinking on it, I'd change saying it was for the art and just say it's part of the same fetish I thought (which I think is what I was trying to say to begin with). I wouldn't consider that much "benefit" of a doubt either... If he had a camera set up through an underage girl's ceiling, the case pretty much speaks for itself and throw the fucking book at him. Obsessions need legal outlets, like asking any adult camwhore on any forum to pose for him, and it's no defense or excuse. If anything, like RBJ says, it's a good reason for a concerned person to check the attic. (And I very well could be completely wrong and there's no connection; and he's just into peeping on girls and making models.)
Edit: The last thing I quoted apparently from him was from Feb 2010, BTW, if that's any indication of how it turned out.

I don't think that's him; it's not really his style. I'd say that was someone just using his name (as he was well known on cgtalk and other 3D forums).
