6 years later...and its still going...hmm I did something epic.
Anyway, on the bright side, I see the points made on this page about the thread being...well useless and clunky.
I was working on a new system at a spiffy short URL...........that I have since lost, but anyway...I'll go dig that system up and finish it...
If theres any tuts laying around to getting Shock 2 MP working with Linux let me know and I'll play some games. :thumb:

i'm usually the guy who does all the work, but i'm open to people doing work for me! i'm okay with cheating and spawning, but alert the team before transitioning to a bulkhead or level. i play only on hamachi, but if i give time to configuring my router, i might be able to play directly. really want to try a four-player game.
