I am guessing someone has done this, but I didn't find it on the search menu. If you get Azura's Soul gem from doing her quest you can trap Vivecs soul in it, provided you can kill him.
Very tough, very tough indeed. Took some serious spells and enchanted weapons melee but finally after about 15 saves and resets got him. Soul gem is worth 5000000 setims. WOW. Ahh can't remember the charges but way higher than others. Just thought I would share that with you all and see if anyone has actually used it to enchant something. Curious as to what enchantment you chose.

It wasn't that hard to kill vivec. Just used my amulet that absorbs health 75-100 pts and my Aryon helper glove a couple of times. I think what did it was using this new weapon called a deadric crescent longblade. It paralyzes oppenents and disinigrates armor. I messed up my chance for azura's soul gem......went in the hut by mistake!!

Yah, I bagged Vivec and captured his soul....took me a lot of tries but finally enchanted 'Armor of the Gods'...a Daedric Cuirass with a Constant Effect of Resore Health and Fatigue...like a regenration skill all the time....I wish I had enchanted Resote Magicka along with it or something like that, but its pretty slick now the way it is. I am just about indestructible.

The spell restore magica doesn't exist in the game (only in the editor) so i wouldn't worry to much about it Azmartini. :erg:
