Heck, even the old cartoon had them transform into alien stuff on Cybertron and only adapt to Earth's environment when they crashed here.

Indeed, the probe from the Ark flying out to scan all the Earth vehicles was one of my favourite bits of the cartoon.

I really liked Prime's 1 on 3 rumble in the forest. The big battle at the end was disappointing though. Devastor didn't do much except for pound on a pyramid. What he should have been doing is gleefully trashing all the military hardware porn.
Jetfire had some great lines, otherwise the humour was lame.
I'm easily pleased by giant robots punching each other but i'd have to agree with whoever it was here who said that Bay can't do actual feeling, just clumsily mimic it. 5 or 6/10 i guess.

I think that was Megan Fox. /rimshot
They've been having quite the spat in the press, anyway.

Which ones? I cringed at almost everything he said. And the walking stick...

He was just one of the few humorous bits that worked for me. I liked that bit about "my father was a wheel", ok? DON'T JUDGE MEEEEE.

Nice one, ZB.

I saw it yesterday and I thought it was a better experience than T4. If they could just make a special edition with all the lame-ass childish jokes cut out, it could actually become a (relatively) decent action film. Whoever doctored the script last doesn't understand funny.

Judging by the way they're making films (and games) these days, that was probably
America.
