Guys, I think that nice Jesus would be ok with some people having different ideas about the Trinity thing.
Religious persecutions usually start after their nice-guy founder is too dead to tell people to knock it the fuck off.

what the fuck is happening in this thread
surely the type of reverential saint-like treatment of Adams by some forum members is exactly the type of thing his mild English satire would target
he's probably laughing his head off at everyone who got remotely jumped up to rush to the aid of some guy who once had a beer-fueled vision of a novel and put pen to paper died 5 years ago.

That old version of me is eerily similiar to the new one.
What can it all mean?

I was hoping there would be some intelligent discernment between defending Adams, and pointing out that you're a big fat asshat for posting in a thread for the sole intention of insulting the work of the person said thread was created to commemorate. My bad.
Btw, congratulations to the rest of you who have 'moved the fuck on' (was this on some popular 'phrase of the day' calender you guys bought? I missed the memo). You're all so very grown up. I'll go watch my Ewoks cartoon now. :erg:

Well, you certainly did take great offense at that bit, didn't you? You go ahead and watch your Ewok cartoons. Enjoy away. Just don't throw another hissy-fit when someone point's out that animation has evolved, and if it's not your first encounter with that sort of thing, or viewed through the lens of nostalgia, it's more than a bit shit.

I still use Dirk Gently's Zen method of driving. :cheeky:
I was always sad that Adams didn't write more Dirk Gently novels. Loved them!

I read the Dirk Gently story he was working on when he died. I still really want to know what happens with the rhino. :(
