Asking intentionally provocative questions gets a response of some sort, if that's what you're after. But if you want an honest answer, I'd say it mattered whether you were born that way or ended up that way due to accident, injury, or disease. If I started off smart, I wouldn't care what I looked like as long as I could function mentally. If you read Of Mice & Men, that poor bastard started off blissfully ignorant of his stupidity. The hardest part was losing the intelligence he gained and remembering he used to be smart. Weight can be controlled - not easily!! - but it can be controlled one way or another. If you're mentally challenged, well you're pretty well stuck with it.

No. I watched a movie called "Mean Creek" yesterday and it got me thinking. It's about a fat, "complicated" bully who gets killed by skinny, good looking kids who plotted to humiliate him but drowned him instead even after they decided not to carry out their plot.
