That sounds perfect. Simple = Less Work.

what about the old method of voting? where people fill out a "ballet" and email it.
The_Dude on 19/12/2006 at 23:55
Can't be that old using email? :erg:

Bring forth that list of authors! :cheeky:

Well, do you feel like filling out 21 missions x 6 categories = 126 numbers ? Sucks, right ?
And now, imagine having to make statistics from 126 x number-of-voters.

I'd keep it simple, if possible and you may get more votes. If it gets too complex, people just can't be bothered sometimes, I think.
Several of the missions have turned out much too well to be crap. I'm having a lot of fun working my way through them all. :)

ok, well when is the Revelation Day ?

why don't you make a voting page out of a thread(using a voting poll):sly:
Renault on 21/12/2006 at 16:24
I think this is exactly what we'll do (voting by poll). The other way is just too much of a pain, and unnecessary. Should go up sometime today.
Edit: We'll extend the voting deadline by a few weeks as well.

I think that's fine, but the drawbacks to a poll are that you can only vote in one category (unless you have a separate thread for each category!) and also the results are public so voting isn't blind. What about just having people email votes to you? It worked fine for me on the SSR contest. I even set up a subject line filter that threw most of them into a bucket.
