Hi.

Went to Mexico to visit fam this Summer, among other things. Also went to visit a friend in Los Mochis, a city north of Culiacan (where I am originally from), three hour bus ride. She took me to Topolobambo one hot, sweltering afternoon. It's a chill beach twenty minutes from the city. Had my cellphone, took some photos, felt like sharing.

You certainly capture the spirit of a place. You make it seem off the beaten path with only one person in frame that way. Almost a hidden jewel all your own. I rather suspect it was a weekday though.

Was the one shot of the pier at Playa El Maviri?

Tocky - I believe it is, as are a few others! Well I'll be...you get a fucking cookie for knowing that, and thank you very much. Yes, I often like to isolate my subjects, or keep'em to a minimum (though I also have many photos with crowds that I like). I think it was a weekday, yes, though on the open ocean beach there were many cars with families, so I'm not 100% sure...
