I find it interesting how many multiplayer games make it to these top 10 lists. Far too many, I would politely suggest.
I wouldn't dispute that multiplayer can be a lot of fun (I'm having rather a great time with Watch Dogs' online hacking at the moment) but it requires much more skill and effort to craft a fine single player experience than it does to create a sandbox and let people blast merry hell out of each other.

Could somebody put together a Top 10 list of Top 10 lists in this thread? K, thanks.

You could make a "Top 10 Games Most Likely to Make it Into a Top 10" List, to poke fun at the unoriginality of so many of these lists.
Half-Life 2 and Deus Ex would definitely be in there.

Well you have a thread about top 10 lists right here :p.

I've heard of maybe half of them.
My top 5 so far this year are:
Rain World
Strafe
Robo Recall (VR)
Snake Pass
Conductor (VR)
Still on the "must play" list: Night in the Woods, Gravity Rush 2, Horizon Zero Dawn, and maybe a handful others from that list.

That'd probably be on the top of my list if I had a Nintendo system.

And I'm sure you still bought a disc copy to run in said emulator and aren't blatantly advocating piracy, right? :D

It's what I'll probably do, i.e. Buy the game and play it on emulator, even though I've even got a WiiU.

Well, you might have a small performance penalty doing so, I'd imagine. Though I haven't tried it to compare.
For notes, I just had a notebook beside me instead. Low tech solutions FTW :)
