It's odd - other than the one at the end of Portal, I'm struggling to think of any.

Yup, Transistor's final song was a lovely way to close out a gorgeous game. Had that on repeat for a while on the playlist.
faetal: surely MP3's two musical interludes stand out a bit? The bar shootout with (

I'm sure I've experienced some, I just don't feel like I remember any.
I really need to play MP3 again though.

(
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PiYuq6Ac3a0) War, never been so much fun! Has that telltale fuzzy, slightly halting feel of an early 90s mod file but hey, not bad for a game that came on floppies and predates MP3s.
Also (
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IYYx7NhgHNQ) Stiletto's introduction from Anachronox. The characters came to life in that game, in a way you'd never believe for lumpy collections of Quake 2 polygons.

I've never played Starsiege before, but (
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ZX6hUpqvb0) this track from the game is fantastic. Tunes called "Mech Soul" I think. Has me very much thinking of Mech battles going on.
I love the Tribes 2 soundtrack (even if it is a shortlist). Makes for a perfect biking music :p

I haven't played it, but this one deserves a mention as well. :)

First one I thought of was this:

Technically not a credits sequence, but an intro. Still: so much amazingness. Low-rent Jim Carrey clone in full-tilt Riddler mode, acting befitting a porno flick, 90s FMV aesthetics, and then suddenly: Kafka.

OH god that Kingdom Hearts platforming...
