Wow, never heard of that one, but it sounds absolutely fascinating! In general, I have a strong dislike for reality shows, but this particular program sounds interesting, so I might check it out.

I just noticed that Survivorman DVDs are out... well there goes forty bucks.

I nominate Go fuck yourself.
I love how everyone is so quick to decry reality TV, yet THEY STILL KEEP FUCKING WATCHING IT. They mock it in an ironic, 'LOL nobody likes reality TV' kind of way, although they're the first to queue up for the next series of We'll Fuck You Up The Arse.
Well, I say FUCK REALITY TV, not in a contemporary 'I'm so cultured that I hate reality TV' tone but a fucking 'call a spade a fucking spade' tone.

Die.
No, really.
Just die. Do us all a favour.

I've never watched any reality TV that I wasn't forced to (and yes, someone did try to force me to watch a Big Brother once) but I don't like, have a vendetta against it...most of them are fakesy soap operas, sure, but people have a right to watch those if they want to. Though that said, anyone who thinks that they are an accurate reflection of reality needs to get off the couch and go outside.

Uh, no. The people watching it are the millions of people who
don't decry it (or else just can't bear not to watch
something, anything on TV each night).
The people who decry reality TV are the ones who can't fucking stand it.

I'm not ashamed to admit I love the genre but I really only like the ones on cable. So here are my top three channels:
1) MTV- the originator: Real World, Road Rules etc.
2) VH1's celebreality: Surreal Life, Hogan Knows Best etc.
3) FX-extreme social studies: 30 Days, Back/White etc.
Honorable mention goes to Bravo for Bobby Brown, Kathy Griffith and Lisa Loeb

all anti-realityTV arguments crumble in the face of Hogan Knows Best
