So Tommy and Rebecca, accompanied by SHODAN, of course, all set out in an escape pod.
However, they are 5.7 trillion (or however many) miles away from Earth.
What do they do?

When Rebecca comes back to consciousness one last time she awakes to a bloody nightmare. She's alone, her lover lies at her feet, his body torn apart. There's no doubt who killed him. The pod is slowly approaching the VB and a soothing voice in her head starts guiding her actions.

I agree with Kolya! :) This scene should be in the System Shock 3 intro. However I wouldn't like if SS3 took place on the Von Braun (as it's discussed in another thread). But I could imagine, that it starts on the VB, and continues elsewhere.

It would take them over a year to reach earth if the shuttle could travel at the speed of light. That would be one long intro in SS3. :p

Well thats easy 1 man and 1 woman but woman is not woman and man is not man Tommy is infected by Many and Rebbeca is by Shodan so...no idea maybe they kill each other and no ss3 :laff: or they start breading hybrids hm with strenght of robots + flesh so psi powers and googles is fucked up or maybe he will be father or babysitter :laff:
Any way i hope Shodan and Many are dead...so we wont see them in ss3 we may see Hybrids and AI but difrent ones...

Yeah, sure. A System Shock game without SHODAN sounds like a brilliant idea. I wonder why no one thought of that before :rolleyes:

In SS3 the player will assume the role of Tommy. The gameplay will consist of 40 hours of sitting in the pod, listening to Shobecca repeatedly ask "Are we there yet?".
