What else can I say that hasn’t already been said? This started with a game that took me away from the horrors that had set up on my life like a ravenous Burrick. I never dreamed it would lead to sharing pictures of weddings and children, or of sharing a drink together. But here we are. I know it’s impossible for any one of us to express or explain the role this place has played in our lives. It goes too deep now, it’s become part of the wallpaper. I at least want you all to know that I love you. You gave me a home when I had none, and an ear when only my wife would listen anymore. A place to create when I thought all artistic expression had been exhausted. You saved me. This place, saved me. And I love the fact that none of us can quite put a finger on why that is. Some things can’t be quantified, and that is certainly the case here.
I don’t know what will become of this place, but I hold you all in my heart (or, ya know, my brain, since the heart is apparently just an interchangeable organ). I know I have been in yours for so long, and your faithfulness, kindness, and honesty helped me to find who I really was, and it has made my life better. Thank you. Everything else truly has been ass.
