and I like it just fine. I AM using it on a 4-string bass w/a RAT pedal, though. Anyway, I like it, and it's in your price range.

The Morley and The Dunlop are both excellent and well-built pedals. I prefer the Crybaby, personally even though I'm not a big fan of wah. As far as multiple effects go, the BOSS ME-50 is a solid pedal, although it lacks features like polyphony with pitch-shifting, which sucks. Don't buy a cheap-ass Zoom or anything like that, go for gold. The GT-6 or GT-8 are good, but I prefer the Korg AX1500G which I am buying soon.

Cheers 'noid, was wondering when you'd turn up :thumb: I'd seen the 1500G myself, dismissed it for some reason. Considering I've just found the 1500G for £20 less than the ME-50, what makes you choose it over the ME?
edit - I've just read the specs for the 1500G, and now I don't know which to get again!

Korg pedals are usually not as sturdy in construction as Boss pedals, however, if you dont plan on travelling or gigging with it then that shouldnt be an issue. The best thing to do is to use your ears, dont go by the specs of something. Get into a shop and try both out, with your own guitar, and then make a decision.

I have to agree with PigLick, it's usually a good idea to try things out yourself. One person's ear candy is another's nails on chalkboard. I had a Crybaby for years, and loved it. By the way, you can futz with the range on them manually if you take them apart and change where the gears on the pot mesh with the toothed thingamabob. Also, I think there are kits around that let you mod your wah. Maybe Torres Engineering, iirc? I always wanted to try a vox wah, though, since I love Jimi's sound too.
