Good reading, the major problem is the inside linking giving an unending backtracking to what the hell was I reading in the first place? So I had to use multiple tabs to keep track of a very deep side tracking.
I remember "wasting time" this way only with wikipedia articles.

Sadly I found these very boring and uninvolving.
I actually stumbled onto SCP (via TVTropes) a few months ago, and had the same reaction. The problem is that they all start out with the containment procedures, which are almost universally boring. Also, they're not all gems. Some are just too dryly written, and some artifacts aren't even interesting.
But then you have the mind-reading pizza box, the machine that "refines" things, the infinite stairwell, and so on, that make it all worthwhile. Oh, those wacky D-class personnel. Won't they ever win?

In this we are in agreement.

We could always use more of those bb-s.
It's true though, about the main SCP stuff anyway. Even the creepy ones like the staircase had me laughing at the cruel scientists subjecting people to this stuff.

Per recommendations I read the infinite stairwell. Honestly can't really see what the fuss is all about, and that's from someone who would class The Ring as a scary film
I also find dethtoll posts pretty unsettling
